Being a member of the official dance team of the University of Florida, the Dazzlers, and with the help of the University Athletic Association, I have had many opportunities to develop my professional skills as well as dedicate my time to the University of Florida and the surrounding Gainesville community through volunteer and community service activities. These activities include events like Climb for Cancer, March for Babies, Shift Church, Goodwill Gator events, various retirement and nursing homes, and well as numerous athletic events.

Through practical field experience I gained insight into schooling and education, the lives of different stakeholders within the education system (teachers, students, families, community members, and administrators), the intersections of school and the greater community in which schools are situated, and my potential role as a future intellectual within schooling and education. Managed and guided small group and individual activities, class work, and projects in various classrooms at multiple schools. Designed and completed a STEAM activity with the students of Hidden Oak Elementary School that was presented to the Superintendent of Alachua County Public Schools.
